The One Where Chandler Crosses The Line

Episode 4.07

[Previous][Next][Back to the Master List]

Chandler becomes further frustrated when he accidentally sees Kathy coming out of the shower. Joey is late for a date with Kathy because he's on a date with someone else; Chandler and Kathy spend time alone together and they kiss; Chandler feels so guilty that he refurnishes the apartment; Kathy breaks up with Joey, and he suspects there is another man; Chandler admits it was him, causing a rift between himself and Joey. Ross rediscovers his musical "sound," but he isn't really as good as he and Phoebe seem to believe; Phoebe doesn't want to perform because she feels dwarfed by Ross's musical gift.

Additional plotline on the DVD release: Rachel experiments with eating in restaurants alone.

The one where they said....

Chandler: All right, look, I just think it's time for you to settle down, ya know. Make a choice. Pick a lane.
Joey:Who's Elaine?

Phoebe (singing): Little tiny Tarzan, swinging on an nose hair, swinging with the greatest of ease...

Monica: Orange juice just came out of my nose, but it was totally worth it.

Ross:I left my helicopter sounds on another disk. I'll be right back.

Kathy: So. What did ya do today?
Chandler: Oh, I had an appointment to get my hair cut.
Kathy: Ah, it looks great!
Chandler: And then it got cancelled.
Kathy: Well, I could cut it!
Chandler: Really? Do you do that?
Kathy: Yeah, I do. Oh, of course, I learned at my Aunt's dog grooming shop, but hey, what to ya say?
Chandler: Dog grooming, huh? Okay, just don't make my tail too poofy.

Kathy:You have really great hair.
Chandler: Well thanks, I grow it myself.

Joey: Oh, man! I can't believe I locked myself out again!

Joey: A TV that appears as if from nowhere! That's the dream!

Joey: I think somebody's got a little crush on Casey. How 'bout I fix you two up? What do ya think?
Chandler: That all the pieces of my life are falling right into place!

Chandler: You're right. I have no excuses. I was totally over the line.
Joey: Over the line? You... you.. you're so far past the line that you can't even see the line! The line is a dot to you!
